Hi,

This past week has been a whirlwind of gratitude and growth.Witnessing my son, Mikhayl, accept his CASA award was a heartwarming reminder of the impact we can have.

All the students who achieved this award worked extremely hard throughout the year.

It’s moments like these that underscore the importance of setting clear goals and staying committed to our journey.

Here are some Inner Game perspectives to consider this week:

1 question from me…

What opportunities are you missing out on simply because you haven't reached out?

2 insights from me...

I.

For every Olympian, there are on average 12 coaches behind the scenes. That's what it takes to push your body and mind. Who is holding you accountable?"

II.

Nearly everything in life has a useful zone, a desired dose.

Ten minutes in the sun can energize you.

Ten hours can burn you.

This concept applies to many things: work, relationships, hobbies, exercise, food.

Where are you overdosing?

3 quotes from me...

I.

"Gratitude is a strategic advantage"

II.

"Coaching is a seduction into a possibility"

III.

"No one is operating at full capacity, you can do more!"

A short story I've been pondering

When Steve Jobs was 12, he boldly called Bill Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, asking for spare parts.

This initiative landed him a summer internship and ignited a passion that drove his career.

This story is a powerful lesson: If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

There may be something you're longing for but haven't attained because you haven't taken the step to ask for it.

If you believe you’ve earned it, take the leap and ask.

  • Worst outcome: A refusal.

  • Best outcome: It becomes yours.

Many people you look up to are often willing to help.

They have received assistance in their journeys and are eager to return the favor.

But you must show you've put in the work to deserve it.

What opportunities am I missing simply because I haven't reached out?

The idea of waiting passively for good things to happen is flawed.

A proactive approach can make a significant difference.

A new episode of the pod dropped this week

This was a great chat with someone who has been a source of inspiration for many years, the founder of InnerFight, Marcus Smith, enjoy the show!

A micro thought from this week's Coaching Journal

Success often hinges on consistently executing mundane tasks exceptionally well.

We generally understand what actions are necessary to achieve our goals, but the lack of immediate results can be discouraging.

It’s easy to think, “I ate healthily and worked out all week, yet I’m still not as fit as I want to be. Why bother?”

You must recognize that progress is being made even when it's not immediately visible.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it was constructed one brick at a time.
