Hi,

✈️ Just got back from Asia—visiting family and working with clients—and I came down with a bug. Low energy, jet lag, and a packed schedule. To top it off? A high-stakes presentation and a major race in the same week. Brutal, right? 😷😵‍💫

Lesson: Sometimes life throws a perfect storm of pressure and feeling under the weather. The key? Manage your energy, not just your time. Simplify, prioritize, and focus on what moves the needle most. 💧😴

🚀 Despite feeling rough, I crushed the presentation and exceeded expectations in the race! Turns out, you don’t need perfect conditions to perform—just start, show up, and let your body and mind adapt. You might surprise yourself.

When you're feeling under the weather but have big commitments, what's your go-to strategy? 🤔

  • 💪 Push through and show up, no matter what

  • 📝 Simplify and prioritize only the most crucial tasks

  • 😴 Rest and recover, even if it means rescheduling

  • 🌿 Use quick recovery hacks (like hydration, deep breathing,

Here's some Inner Game wisdom to chew on this week

1 quote

"Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive."

- Howard Thurman

2 questions (and answers from me)

  1. How do I stop comparing myself to others and focus on my own journey? Comparison is a trap. It’s like trying to race Usain Bolt when you’re on your morning jog. Your journey is yours alone. Focus on progress over perfection. Instead of competing with others, compete with the version of you from yesterday. Celebrate your wins, no matter how small, and remember: true success is about building a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good from the outside.

  2. How do I get out of a rut and find momentum again? Start with micro-actions. Feel like you can’t run a mile? Walk around the block. Too overwhelmed to plan a project? Sketch out one idea. The trick is to build momentum in the tiniest of steps. Action breeds clarity, and clarity breeds momentum. Once you’re moving, your motivation will kick in. Remember: progress is more about consistency than intensity.

3 insights from me

  1. Your energy is your greatest currency. Guard it with everything you have. Surround yourself with people and activities that elevate you. Every decision either charges or drains your energy. Invest wisely.

  2. Regret will always sting more than failure. You can recover from a failed attempt, but you can’t get back time lost to inaction. Take the leap. You’ll either land on solid ground or learn to fly. Either way, you win.

  3. Your life’s best work comes from radical honesty. Be real with yourself about what you want, what you fear, and what you’re willing to trade for your dreams. Pretending is exhausting. Truth is freeing. Start living truthfully, and you’ll play at a level most people can’t comprehend.

The Great TikTok Echo Chamber: When Your Feed Becomes Your World

🚨 The Scoop:

In the lead-up to the recent U.S. presidential election, many Kamala Harris supporters on TikTok found themselves in a bubble of optimism. 🌐 Their feeds were flooded with content predicting her victory, creating a digital echo chamber. 📢

However, as Election Day approached, reality hit hard—Harris lost to Donald Trump. 😳 This phenomenon highlighted how TikTok's algorithm can create personalized realities, limiting exposure to diverse viewpoints. 🌀

💡 The Lesson:

Social media algorithms are like well-meaning but overprotective friends—they show you what they think you want to see, not necessarily what you need to see. 🤯 Relying solely on these curated feeds can give you a skewed perception of reality. 🔍

To make informed decisions, especially in business and life, step outside your digital comfort zone. 🏞️ Seek out diverse perspectives, challenge your assumptions, and remember: growth happens when you venture beyond the algorithm's safety net. 🚀

Facts! 🚀 Rejection is the price of admission for ambitious goals. If you’re not collecting 'no’s like badges, you’re not even in the right league. Keep swinging for the fences.
