Hi,

If you know me, you know I love to read. Books have been my secret weapon—half my wins in life come from something I picked up in a book.

My kids? They used to devour books 📚. But over time—screens, school, life—the habit faded.

I tried the classic “Read more!” speech. It worked… until it didn’t. 😅

So I switched it up. Instead of saying “read,” I started saying:

👉 “Imagine how…”

1 - Tie It to What They Love

🎮 Gaming? “Books are cheat codes for real life.”

🏀 Sports? “Reading is brain training—skip it, and you’re skipping leg day.”

🌍 Adventure? “Books = time machines. Open one, and BOOM—you’re in ancient Egypt.”

2 - Make It a Superpower ⚡

“Every billionaire, elite athlete, and YouTuber reads daily.” 🏆

“Reading lets you ‘download’ genius-level ideas in hours.” 🧠

3 - Turn It Into a Game 🎯

“First one to finish a book picks dinner.” 🍕

“Read for 20 minutes, then teach me something cool.” 🎓

4 - Show, Don’t Tell 👀

I stopped nagging and just read in front of them. Left books lying around. Shared wild stories from my reading.

Suddenly… they got curious again.

That’s the trick. Stop making reading a chore. Make it a shortcut to what they already love. 🚀

Here's some Inner Game wisdom to chew on this week

1 question

If you had to make $10 million in the next 12 months or die, what’s the first thing you’d stop wasting time on?

2 questions (and answers from me)

  1. How can I stay positive, I feel negativity is constantly creeping in my mind? What if negativity isn’t the enemy, but the map? What is your mind actually trying to show you? All emotions provide us feedback.

  2. What’s the laziest, most foolproof way to get your confidence back—without faking it? Want a stupidly simple confidence hack? Win the morning, win the day. A solid morning routine isn’t just about productivity—it’s a cheat code for confidence. Why? Because confidence = keeping promises to yourself. You start the day stacking small wins (workout, cold shower, deep work), and suddenly, your brain goes, ‘Damn, we’re that guy now.’ It’s not magic. It’s momentum. And momentum makes you unstoppable.

3 insights from me

  1. 💀 Biggest Regrets Come From What You Didn’t Do - DONE

    1. Actions might be dumb, but inaction is what haunts people.

    2. When in doubt? Take the shot.

    3. The only mistakes you’ll regret are the chances you didn’t take.

  2. The Cheat Code to Being Understood

    1. Want to be a communication genius? Speak their language, not yours.

    2. If people don’t get what you’re saying, it’s your fault, not theirs.

    3. Most people talk in their mental model—big mistake.

    4. The real pros? They translate. They meet people where they are, not where they wish they were.

  3. 🔥 Transformation = Changing Your Identity

    • The fastest way to change? Call yourself something new—and live up to it.

    • You don’t get fit. You become an athlete.

    • You don’t start writing. You become a writer.

The Pivot Playbook: Why The Best Leaders Never Stay Still

Freedom isn't External - It's an Inside Job

As the Stoics say: “No man is free who is not master of himself.”

This hit hard.

Most people think freedom = money, status, or escaping the 9-5. Wrong.

The real prison? Your own mind. If you can’t control your impulses, emotions, or habits—congrats, you’re owned. Not by a boss, but by your own lack of discipline.

💡 Reality check:

  • Can’t say no to distractions? You’re not free.

  • Controlled by emotions? You’re not free.

  • Addicted to comfort? You’re not free.

The Stoics nailed it: Master yourself, or be mastered by everything else. Choose wisely.

Brain Candy Tweets That Made Me Think, Laugh, or Go ‘Huh, Interesting!

Most people are still stuck in the ‘time spent = value created’ mindset. ❌

That’s dead. AI flips the game—your job won’t be doing the work, it’ll be deciding what work is worth doing.

The new elite? People who can: 🧠 Ask the right questions 🎯 Give AI the right prompts 👀 Spot what actually matters

The rest? Just managing an army of robots from a coffee shop.

The real flex? Being the one who actually does something while the ‘smart’ people are still overthinking.

Here’s a rundown of some cool stuff I’ve been diving into this week.

I'm rooting for you to continue crushing it! 💪🏼
