The True Secret to a Beautiful Life and More Insights

It's Not the Journey or the Destination

What do you think?

Is life about the journey, or the destination?

That's the perennial question in conversations with friends and family.I've come to learn, that it's neither.

Life is about the company.

When I focus on the company, the journey and the destination become beautiful.

It’s not the journey, it’s not the destination—it’s the company that truly matters.

I lose sight of the people when I get caught up in execution.

I become myopically focused on processes, policies, habits, protocols, and routines.

But what matters is the people you’re with and the ones you enjoy it with.

I want to surround myself with people I can learn from, people who inspire me, and from that, the journey and the destination naturally fall into place.

Surround yourself with great people.

Go out and find like-minded individuals who inspire you to think bigger and encourage you to be more.

Avoid those who tell you to "be realistic" or harbor envy towards your aspirations.

Great things happen when great people surround you.

New podcast episode

Warren Buffet is known for saying that one of the most important investments he made was to attend a public speaking workshop.

In this episode, we discuss all things public speaking.

Proverb I've been thinking about

This is a simple, beautiful proverb on the power of acts of service:

If you want happiness for an hour—take a nap.

If you want happiness for a day—go fishing.

If you want happiness for a year—inherit a fortune.

If you want happiness for a lifetime—help someone else.

From thoughts to clarity

Thinking is like trying to hold water in your hands—elusive and fleeting.

Writing, however, is like pouring water into a glass—structured and clear.

I've found that while my thoughts can be chaotic, writing helps me organize and solidify them.

It turns abstract ideas into actionable plans.

To enhance your productivity and clarity, make writing a habit.

Whether it’s jotting down ideas or keeping a journal, writing will help you capture and refine your thoughts.

Embrace writing, and watch your ideas take shape and lead to action.
