Name the real decision. Before acting, ask: “What’s the actual decision here — not just the urgent one?”
Slow the conversation. In your next important discussion, explicitly say: “Let’s slow this down and make sure we’re aligned.”
Delay emotional decisions by 24 hours. If a choice feels charged, don’t decide. Calm clarity beats fast regret.
Rushing doesn’t save time. It just postpones clarity.
